Vanilla seeds
They say we can taste with our eyes. This is certainly true in the case of vanilla ice cream, vanilla-flavoured white chocolate as well as various light-coloured dairy products where the little black vanilla seeds are clearly visible in the products.
Vanilla seeds, sometimes referred to as vanilla caviar, are the innumerable tiny black grains in the vanilla beans. In their pure form, these grains can be added to products flavoured with vanilla extract to visually enhance the appearance of natural vanilla ingredients.
